Ships’ Bells

As supplied to the world’s shipping fleets. Nauticalia are acknowledged as the world’s leading supplier of ships’ bells, with three ranges:

Ocean Range
Our premium range, which is made to meet or exceed the specifications set by SOLAS and Lloyds Register. To give the required tone and volume, the grade of brass, proportions, thickness, and weight all have to be tightly controlled during production, resulting in bells of exceptional quality and reliability – we are confident they are the finest available.
The 8″ Ocean bell is certified for vessels  from 12-20 metres; the 12″ Ocean bell for vessels over 20m.

Coastal Range
These imported bells are made to similar dimensions as our Ocean Range, but to less strict production specifications. They are thinner and lighter but offer significant cost savings and are well suited to inland and coastal craft or land-based applications such as doorbells.

Chrome-plated Range
Cast from solid brass in the same traditional manner as our other bells, they are polished to a high finish then plated with a heavy layer of chrome. Each piece is then lacquered for protection. Not suitable for engraving.
