Decorative Ships’ Wheels

Our timber wheels are made in the time-honoured way, from arc-shaped sections of wood laid up in overlaps around turned spokes to form a circle. The cast brass centre bosses are individually tested for stress faults before assembly, although we recommend these for decorative rather than serious sea-going use. Straight-bored for a keyway fitting.
Measurements (tip to tip) are 51cm, 40cm.
