Designed by Sir Thomas Slade, and launched in 1765, HMS Victory was the ultimate Georgian warship. Armed with 102 guns plus two carronades in the fo’c’sle, she displaced approximately 3,500 tons and carried a crew of about 850. HMS Victory remains a commissioned warship - the oldest in the world – and today she serves as flagship to the First Sea Lord at her dry dock home in Portsmouth where she welcomes around 870,000 visitors each year.

This museum-quality model is made entirely from wood with cotton sails and extensive rigging, and measures 60cm long and 46cm high.
